Pearl Akazue (née Osirike) is a multipotentialite. She is passionate about teaching, research and writing. She holds a First Class B.Sc. and M.Sc. degree in Biochemistry. She is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Molecular and Cell Biology of Infectious Diseases at the University of Ghana. She also lectures at the Department of Biochemistry, University of Benin, Nigeria.
Aside from her academic interests, she loves reading/listening to motivational books, handcrafts, and anything creative. She enjoys spending time with her family. She is happily married with two adorable kids.
