My Twenty-Nine-Day Open Gratitude Challenge: 2020

The month of October is easily my favourite month of the year. This is partly because it is my birth month, but more significantly, because it is my covenant month – a month in which I embark on an annual 29-day long gratitude challenge. This year, I was privileged to publicly share my October of Gratitude journey (and not just snippets of my gratitude journal, which I had shared in previous years) with a group of over two hundred people on WhatsApp. It was a mind-blowing 29 days of gratitude, affirmations, complain-fast and sweet fellowship. The daily prayers raised in the group by the participants were just too beautiful for words… We determined to give God what I termed “lavish praise“, and God honoured us with his overflowing blessings…

The year 2020 has been an interesting year for everyone… As the year swiftly winds to an end, I can think of no better way to end this year than in God’s presence – in gratitude. In recent times, I have drawn so much strength from the word of God, and it has inspired everything that I do.

In these times, I pray you draw your strength from God’s unfailing stores…

I pray that you have an appreciation of the overwhelming, reckless love God has for you…

Importantly, I pray that you find many reasons to be grateful for everything…

To set you off on your gratitude journey, I have complied my gratitude notes and affirmations together in one piece. I firmly believe that this e-book would be a blessing to you – as it has been to me and the hundreds of people who embarked on the journey with me…

This e-book is a labour of love. If it blesses you, please feel free to share with others… Also, know that you can always reach out to me, and I would be happy to hear from you.

Cheering you on with so much love…
